SECU Family House Dinners
The State Employee’s Credit Union Family House is a residence facility for patients, outpatients and family members of folks being treated by area hospitals and clinics. Volunteers from churches, civic groups , families , etc. provide an evening meal for the guests. Volunteers from TUMC provide meals four times a year. We cook at home or at the church and deliver, serve, cleanup and visit with the guests. Paper products are provided by the church and volunteers provide the meal.
This mission has been the most rewarding that TUMC has. Visiting with the guests and providing respite from hospital stays and treatment has really been rewarding for our volunteers. Call our office with questions. 336-765-0150
